amateur radio classes, the Burlington Amateur Radio Club will

The Burlington Amateur
Radio Club will be running a 12 week course for any person
interested in obtaining their Amateur (Ham) Radio license.
Course cost will be $80.00 which includes a membership1 with The
Burlington Amateur Radio Club and your exam fee. A
copy of "The Canadian Amateur Radio Basic
Qualification Study Guide" by Coax Publications will be
required; see ad below or go to:

The series of Power Point
Presentations (8 modules, 386 slides) has been
prepared by the Emergency Management Ontario Amateur Radio
Emergency Service Group (EMO ARES) as an aide to train
interested volunteers in becoming Amateur Radio Operators. This
course is offered free of charge to all Radio Clubs, ARES
Groups, and individuals in the interest of public safety and
community service.
